Royal Ascot Friday Tips : Can Lewis continue his tipping success for Friday?

Another decent day on Thursday, after tipping up 3/1 Free Eagle and 10/1 GM Hopkins on Wednesday Time Test romped home at 9/4 and Udododontu & Scottish came in each way at prices of 18/1 and 10/1 in the 5.00 and 5.35 respectively.

Hoping to keep that going into Friday with more winners for all our website and Facebook fans!

OUR JOY may be a maiden but she’s of interest in the opening Albany Stakes (2:30). Clive Cox’s two-year-olds have been running very strongly this season and this one is regarded very highly amongst them.

She’s only been seen once when running on very strongly from off the pace at Sandown to give subsequent Queen Mary fifth Kazzia a fright at Sandown.

That form is among the best on show for this event and the 12/1 available is a bit of an insult to her ability. She’ll out run those odds and punters should be wading in with each-way stakes.

If Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien continue on the same form as they’ve delivered in the first three days then Ol’ Man River could hack up in the King Edward VII Stakes (3:05).

However, his form has been so woeful since the turn of the year and it makes the 3/1 on offer pretty laughable.

BALIOS has performed with much more credit and verve this season and deserves his shot at this valuable Group Two for David Simcock.

He was flying home late in the day behind Best Of Times at Newmarket where he raced off the pace. Improvement is expected for the step up in trip and he can go very well at 5/1.

The Commonwealth Cup (3:40) looks like one of the most exciting races of the entire meeting due to it’s competitive nature.

Limato and Hootananny head the market but the strongest form lines are with the fillies in the contest.

Tiggy Wiggy and ANTHEM ALEXANDER had plenty of battles last year but it was the selection that came out on top at Royal Ascot in the Queen Mary Stakes and I feel she may just get the verdict again. Get on at a juicy looking 8/1.

If the Commonwealth Cup is the most exciting of the week then the Coronation Stakes (4:20) is without question the classiest. The winner of this will be the top three-year-old filly in Europe and at the prices, LUCIDA just has to be backed at 7/2.

Jim Bolger’s filly got outstayed by the eventual Oaks second Legatissimo at Newmarket after travelling like the winner for most of the way despite finding trouble.

On a more conventional track, she should have the gears to see off the French raider Ervedya and the woefully short Found, who has Moore on board, but has flattered to deceive with her finishing kick in both her starts this season.

WARRIOR OF LIGHT could be the answer in a very trappy renewal of the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (5:00).

He’s always looked a horse capable of stepping up into more established company than handicaps and his most recent showing at Windsor suggested that he might be about to deliver on the big stage.

O’Brien very much holds the key in the Queen´s Vase (5:35) and ALOFT should take all the beating if he can transfer his form over from very soft ground to a quick surface.

2:30 – Our Joy 12/1 EW

3:05 – Balios 5/1

3:40 – Anthem Alexandra 8/1 EW

4:20 – Lucida 7/2

5:00 – Warrior Of Light 9/1 EW

5:35 – Aloft 13/8
