Daily Horse Racing Tip: Ned Buntline a must-back at Navan

cheltenham-bookmakersAnnie Power’s odds-on win at Ascot kept the profit ticking over for tipster Lewis Jones and he’s over in Ireland today following a horse whose price is just too juicy to be true….

It’s not often that the greedy bookmakers make mistakes in this game, but we feel they may have priced up the 1:55 Beginners Chase at Navan all wrong. And after they absolutely cleaned up yesterday in the Betfair Chase, we feel it’s time for the punters to strike back.

Card’s sauntering victory at Haydock was a brutal results for the backers who gambled Bobs Worth into the 15/8 favourite come the off. He couldn’t even finish in the top-three as the bookmakers were left sipping champagne and driving away in their fast cars. Maybe they had too much of the fizzy stuff last night as they have priced up the aforementioned race all wrong in our book.

When this happens, a confident punt is usually around the corner.

And that’s the case with NED BUNTLINE (7/4 BET£365 CLICK HERE FOR £200 FREE BET in a high-class renewal of a usually informative novice chase. He takes on one of Willie Mullins’ potential novice stars in the form of Ballycasey and the Mullins charge has been installed as odds-on favourite for the clash, but although we respect him as a chaser, over this two-mile trip he may just get out-classed by the JP McManus owned recruit, who is trained by Noel Meade and has lured jockey AP McCoy over from the UK to take the ride.

The selection was a very smart bumper horse with a horse reputation that simply didn’t take to hurdling, with only one win to his name. He’s quite a looker in the paddock and his trainer has always thought he could be set for the top over the larger obstacles.

His chase debut throws him in at the deep end against Ballycasey but he looked very slow when finishing third in the Irish Daily Mirror Novice Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival and may not be overly suited by a slowly run chase on good ground over two miles.

He looks a type to progress into a smart three-mile chaser but the selection should out gun him today if jumping as good as we expect. The 7/4 available this morning is far too big and should be acted upon.

Using a points to profit system to record our winning margins we are advising a 3pt win on Ned Buntline.

Good luck if following, comrades.
