What does Non Runner No Bet mean? (NRNB)
The closer the Cheltenham Festival gets the more bookmakers are willing to replace their standard ante post betting terms with an offer called non runner no bet. This means the bookmakers in question will suspend their ante post betting markets and introduce this non runner no bet stipulation.
This type of bet gives punters an added security of if your horse doesn’t run, bookmakers will return your stake where normally the bet would go down as a loser.
These types of bets usually are advertised by firms about a month or two before the Cheltenham Festival and in our opinion is the best time to really strike a confident long term punt.
Once again, if you have any questions or want something clearing up, talk to the bookmakers customer service team. Most of them are very clued up with these types of bets and are happy to help.
